It’s a clever device. Turn the ignition off, engage the compressor, start the engine and use the compressor. When you are done, just kick the revs up and the air compressor will disengage itself.
I purchased my T-1 from a Eagle Jeep Parts in Europe. This was a few years back and if I remember correctly it was about $600 plus shipping. So unusual original parts are out there…or at least they were!
